Long Day at the Office
Wilson glanced up from the medical journal lying open on his desk. He watched his colleague and friend amble past, fingers loosening his collar irritably. The other doctor's blue eyes were moody and clouded, and his ever-present frown had deepened. His dark mood was an aura that the oncologist could not miss. It was almost suffocating. With a sigh, he rose from his desk and noticed that the clock was counting down the minutes until the end of the day. House was probably on his way out.
